PocketAudio enables users to utilize their iOS device as a wireless sound card for their computer. The application offers two primary functionalities: Headphones and Microphone.

PocketAudio (Headphones) grants users the ability to stream audio from various Windows or Mac applications. By designating PocketAudio as the computer's audio output device, users can leverage their iOS device to listen to any audio being played on the computer.

On the other hand, PocketAudio (Microphone) serves as an audio input device for both Windows and Mac systems. Users can speak into their iOS device and employ Windows or Mac to capture or record the audio.

Compatible with an array of applications such as Windows Live Messenger, Skype, and AIM, PocketAudio functions seamlessly with any software requiring an audio input/output device.

It's important to note that a network delay exists between the computer and iPhone when using PocketAudio, limiting its suitability in real-time scenarios. For instance, when watching a movie and employing PocketAudio to broadcast the soundtrack, users may experience synchronization issues between the audio and video playback.

Instructions:

• If not already completed, download and install the PocketControl for Windows or Mac software from Senstic's official website.
• On Windows, launch PocketControl for Windows and ensure that SensticPocketService is active on your computer. On Mac, access PocketControl via the applications folder.
• Connect your iOS device to your home Wi-Fi network.
• Launch PocketAudio on your iOS device, which will automatically establish a connection with your computer. The iPhone screen should display "Connected to your_computer_name:port."
• Configure your Windows/Mac program settings to recognize PocketAudio as the designated audio input/output device.

Limitations:

• Currently, PocketAudio is compatible with Windows XP or later versions and Mac OS X 10.7 or newer - versions before Mac OS X 10.6 are not supported.
